To celebrate 200 posts I am giving away 200 buttons! To win them, all you need to do is post a comment letting me know how you would use the buttons or maybe share a button crafting link. If you need ideas, I have some sweet ideas on Pinterest.
I will be working on some buttony projects myself this week that I hope to share. Meanwhile, feast your eyes on these little beauties that could soon be yours! They are mostly vintage with a few newbies and a selection of large and small in all sorts of colours - not too many whites.
Don't forget to let me have a way to contact you if you are the lucky winner! entries will close Monday next week.
I am still in awe of these...

It must come under "button crafting" but perhaps not under "mere mortal button crafting"...
Oooh nice prize! I've been working on a necklace design that uses vintage buttons - these would be perfect.
ReplyDeleteI love all things, buttoney, some say I have an unhealthy obsession!!!! I would create more of my button letter wall hangings! Buttons make me happy LOL
ReplyDeleteHeck, I love vintage buttons. I love picking out contrasting buttons for projects that make the button the focus. They are all so beautiful and deserve to be noticed, not just be practical!
ReplyDeleteoooooh... what I wouldn't do with those buttons. Have you seen my button head doll? and then there are buttons for bags, and purses, a gorgeous button necklace.... The best though is to put them all in a lovely old vintage glass bowl and just run your fingers through them... soooo therapeutic. Love your buttons and congratulations on 200 posts xx
ReplyDeleteooh how cool I have a button addiction lol
ReplyDeleteI don't really do anything with them though! would love to win
Jess
Congratulations on your 200 posts :)
ReplyDeleteProbably a little late for the giveaway, but thought I would share my button craft anyhow! My late nan sewed buttons of all types vintage, cheap, new ones onto a little bag for herself! it was the heaviest little bag and would clink and clatter beautifully as she walked! I am fairly sure it was given to one of the ladies at the local RSL who had always admired it!
oooooh!1 I lurve buttons I would use them as embellishments on my bags and the headbands I am now making I would probably dye some of the white ones like I did here! http://juliet-rainbowsend.blogspot.com/p/tutorials.html
ReplyDeleteand give some to My daughter so she could make some more of these

Such a nice giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI'd use them to decorate tops or perhaps to make some button jewelry.
ooh buttons. They become all sorts of things in our house. Eyes, play money, fairy rings, embellishments, cufflinks, jewellery, stitch markers, key rings and sometimes they do actually get used to help fasten clothing ;)
ReplyDeleteLol I am putting a comment in for Zofia because she tried and it would not work! She loves buttons too and because of her growing knit habit needs more and more!!!
ReplyDeleteBy the way congrats on your 200 posts!! :)
button hmmm, actually I would't be allowed to use them if they came to this house. I have a 3yr old with a button fetish! lol she collects them - cheap entertainment at least....
