Giveaway! OH, Giveaway! #5 ribbon bliss!

I have a small collection of pretty woven ribbons. I use the word collection like someone would refer to their stamp collection or coin collection. They are not to be licked and put on envelopes or put into parking meters and vending machines. LIkewise, these ribbons are almost too precious to use! It would have to be the perfect project.
Of course, the more of something you have, the less rare it is and the more likely it will be used for it's purpose. I think I've just talked myself into buying more ribbons! lol

Now it would be gloating and downright rude to show these pretties and not share. As you can see in the picture above, I have a fair amount of owl and dachshund ribbons. This weeks giveaway will be a metre of either the pink owls or dachshund ribbon. or half a metre of each. Your choice. To enter, just leave a comment here and let me know which you would like if you were lucky enough to win. The winner will be chosen at random next Sunday evening after 8pm Adelaide time.
Good luck!

ETA many of the ribbons in the first pic were bought through Crafty Mamas here in Australia. ***newsflash*** ribbon sale on right now until Sunday 8th! 20% off!

SAKURA & JANEAS WORLD RIBBONS

FARBENMIX RIBBONS

A little birdie told me about Ribbons Galore, another Australian site. I feel the urge to splurge.. I thought I better let you know  so you can get a ribbon fix too.

ETA a pic of how I keep them organised. NOT!

  2. where do you find that lovely ribbon? I love the one with the caravans on it, so different, and you're right it would have to be a special project to put those ribbons on.

  4. I feel much better about the amount of ribbon that I too am stashing for "that perfect project". But I also believe that at some stage I will cross a line (the line made of gorgeous Euro ribbon of course) where something will snap and I will feel a freedom to use my ribbons with carefree abandon. Another 50 metres and I should be just about there. But don't enter me for your giveaway. I really do have enough...or do I?

  30. That's a pretty impressive stash Helen! We have a bit of a thang for owls here (courtesy of our frogmouth neighbours outside), however pink will not do for boys. And as Boy appropriate cuteness is always too hard to pass up and girly sweetness is everywhere, we'll go with the doggies if we were lucky enough to be lucky again on your blog.
